Information for Sponsors

Our team is funded through business sponsorships, individual donations, and in-kind donations. Without the generosity of our Sponsors, we would not be able to have as much presence throughout the state year after year. Our Sponsors help our gymnasts gain confidence as they compete across the state and region.

If your company is interested in donating to our club, see our Donation Letter.  Please contact us with any questions. Your company will be distinguished as a Sponsor on a banner at Summit Gymnastics Academy.

If your company is not interested in having a banner but would still like to support one of our gymnasts, monetary donations can be made by submitting a check (made out to “Summit Gymnastics Boosters”) to Summit Gymnastics Academy.  Be sure to include the name of the gymnast you are sponsoring and "Monetary Donation" on the check.

Information for Gymnasts’ Families

Purpose

The Banner Sponsorship program is meant to assist the families of team gymnasts in raising funds to reduce the out of pocket amount required to participate in local, state, regional and national competitions.

Program

Team gymnasts may approach local businesses to offer them the opportunity to sponsor the gymnast in exchange for a banner advertising the business hanging in the gym.  The business has the option to choose a large or small banner.  Both options are renewable on an annual basis.

Once a gymnast has established a relationship with a particular business, that gymnast is given first opportunity to contact that business when the banner is up for renewal.  The booster club keeps a list of businesses that have banners and which gymnast they sponsor. 

Money

The first time a business purchases a banner, the cost of printing the banner is deducted from the sponsorship proceeds.  The cost to print a banner is approximately $60 for a small banner and $100 for a large.  The gym has many banners that have been printed in the past but may not have been renewed.  The banner sponsor list will designate which businesses already have a banner printed.

Small Banners (33x30) – The sponsorship for a small banner is $250.  The sponsored gymnast will receive approximately $200 for new banners (after printing costs) and the full $250 for a renewal.

Large Banners (64x30) – The sponsorship for a large banner is $500. The gymnast will receive approximately $400 for new banners (after printing costs) and $500 for a renewal.  

Forms

A Donation Letter is available to help explain the program to potential sponsor businesses. A Renewal Letter can be used if you are seeking renewed sponsorship from an existing donor, a banner form is not need for a renewal sponsorship. A Banner Form completed by the Sponsor business must be returned with the check to the booster club and to the printing company with the artwork. Please make sure the Sponsor includes the gymnast name on the Banner Form and on the check.

Sign-up Sheet

Please add your gymnast's name and the month you will be contacting a business on the Sign-Up Sheet prior to contacting the business.  Please only sign up for businesses you intend to contact so that there are plenty for all interested gymnasts.  If another gymnast's name is already listed with a business, please do not request sponsorship from that business.  If you would like to contact a business that is not on the list, please let the banner co-ordinator know so it can be added to the list.
